We are a recruitment agency hiring on behalf of our client — a product-led AI startup building a B2B SaaS platform focused on workflow intelligence and operational performance analytics.
We are looking for a Senior Product Owner (AI/ML) with strong product ownership skills and analytical rigor.
The product automatically identifies workflow deviations and broken handoffs across teams using AI/ML insights.
The team operates with high ownership, autonomy, and a startup mindset, valuing direct impact over rigid processes.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Lead ownership of a core part of the product end-to-end — from data ingestion and metadata modelling to deviation detection and reporting.
- Partner closely with engineering and machine learning to shape how the system discovers ideal workflows and flags deviations.
- Define requirements for metadata, event taxonomy, deviation criteria, prioritisation, and user-facing experiences.
- Ensure product quality through evaluation, monitoring, metrics, and regression checks.
- Translate ambiguous domain and customer needs into actionable product specs and clear success criteria.
Requirement:
- 4+ years in Product Owner / Product Manager roles or senior product/analytical ownership roles.
- Experience with AI/ML-enabled features in B2B SaaS where model behaviour directly impacts users and decisions.
- Strong background working with event-based data and operational systems (e.g., CRM, ticketing, project management, finance/contract systems).
- Comfort defining data contracts and metadata requirements (event taxonomy, identifiers, timestamps, ownership fields, data quality).
- Familiarity with workflow analytics or process mining concepts (handoffs, variants, bottlenecks, cycle time).
- Strong analytical discipline: evaluating model performance, defining quality criteria, monitoring misses vs false alarms, connecting outputs to business outcomes.
- Ability to prioritise, execute, and drive alignment without heavy process overhead.
- Experience owning problems end-to-end in early-stage or scaling environments, shipping iteratively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity with a small, high-ownership team.
- Proactive decision-making and stakeholder alignment skills.
- Willingness to collaborate across time zones and adapt to dynamic priorities.
- English — C1 (Advanced).
