Conversion Engineer

We are looking for a Conversion Engineer to join a team developing technology at the intersection of 3D modeling, medical imaging, and personalized healthcare.

In this role, you will work with patient-specific CT and MRI data and transform medical images into accurate 3D anatomical models. These models will then be used for virtual surgical planning and the preparation of customized solutions for orthopedic procedures.

What you will do:

• Process CT and MRI scans and transform 2D medical imaging data into 3D models of bone structures.
• Prepare and refine anatomical 3D models for further surgical planning.
• Carry out virtual pre-operative planning based on established medical guidelines and case requirements.
• Create and modify 3D models and patient-specific surgical guides.
• Fine-tune automatically generated surgical guides used in orthopedic procedures, including knee-related surgeries.
• Work with specialized software for medical 3D modeling and surgical planning.
• Carefully review your work to ensure the accuracy and quality of the final models.
• Follow the complete workflow of an individual medical case from image processing through preparation of the required 3D outputs.

What we are looking for:

• A technical background or education in an engineering-related field.
• English at Pre-Intermediate level or above.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• An open-minded, proactive, and positive attitude.

It would be an advantage if you have:

• A degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medicine, or a related field.
• Experience with 3D CADor other 3D modeling tools.
• Familiarity with medical imaging technologies.
