We are looking for an experienced legal professional to join an international consulting environment working with clients in regulated and high-risk industries.
The role is suitable for a lawyer who combines strong legal expertise with commercial thinking and enjoys working directly with business owners, founders, banks, regulators, and international service providers.
The main focus will be iGaming-related projects, although candidates with strong experience in Crypto, FinTech, Brokerage or other regulated industries are also welcome to apply.
What you will work on
You will independently manage international legal projects and advise clients on matters such as:
- international licensing and regulatory requirements;
- corporate and ownership structuring;
- cross-border business setups;
- investment and transaction structures;
- banking and payment-related matters;
- legal opinions, memoranda and internal corporate documentation;
- communication with regulators, banks, agents and external legal providers.
You will be responsible for projects from the initial client request through implementation and completion.
The role also involves supporting and mentoring less experienced lawyers and paralegals involved in your projects.
What we are looking for
- Around 3–5+ years of relevant legal experience.
- Background in international corporate, commercial, financial or regulatory law.
- Hands-on experience with licensing projects where you were personally responsible for delivering the result.
- Experience working directly with clients in a consulting or advisory environment.
- Ability to independently manage complex legal matters with limited supervision.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Commercial mindset and ability to understand the business impact of legal decisions.
- Law degree.
- English at B2+/C1 level or higher.
- Fluent Ukrainian and Russian.
Particularly relevant experience
Experience in one or several of the following areas would be highly valuable:
- iGaming / gambling regulation and licensing;
- Crypto / FinTech regulation;
- Brokerage / investment services;
- multi-jurisdiction corporate structuring;
- M&A or investment transactions;
- banking, PSP or payment-related projects;
- working with international registrars, regulators or financial institutions.
Experience with jurisdictions commonly used in international gaming, financial or digital-asset businesses will be considered an advantage.
What matters beyond legal expertise
This is a client-facing consulting role.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable explaining complex legal matters in a practical way, building trusted relationships with clients, participating in negotiations and taking ownership of decisions.
Strong interpersonal skills are particularly important. A technically strong lawyer who prefers purely back-office work is unlikely to enjoy this position.
Previous experience mentoring junior lawyers or coordinating a small team.
